Exhibition design project for the International Area – Crisis Unit and Italian Development Cooperation, MAECI

With the concept “No crisis is far away”, the International Pavilion at the Meeting di Rimini 2025 interprets the theme “In desert places we will build with new bricks” through an immersive, narrative installation dedicated to Italy’s humanitarian action around the world.
The space, covering over 3,600 m², guides visitors along an experiential path – from disaster to reconstruction – highlighting the presence and commitment of the Farnesina in international emergencies.
The project combines temporary architecture, communication design and visual storytelling in a transparent, engaging language: interactive installations, dynamic infographics, videos and real data tell the work of the Italian Development Cooperation and the Crisis Unit in global contexts such as Syria, Gaza, Sudan, Ukraine and Haiti.
The sustainable, modular installation is designed to encourage interaction, awareness and active participation, especially among families and young people.
