I am a multidisciplinary designer expert in solving complex problems, with a master’s degree in Communications and Marketing. In 1990 I graduated in Graphic and Motion Design from the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan. My creative method is a human-centered approach to transform big picture strategy into tangible prototypes, services, products and compelling stories, building a deep empathy with the people I am designing for. I have a diverse background that spans from classical studies, therefore the aspects of human society and culture, to multiple design fields including graphic design, systems design and interactive digital arts. Thanks to my broad backgroundI built the necessary flexibility to address and solve problems of a constantly evolving world and carry projects across a variety of media (exhibitions, digital interfaces, methods and processes), with a particular attention to the technological advances and their ethical implications.15+ years interaction/systems thinking design experience across a variety of digital media and complex system design. Experience in bringing products to life from conceptualization to design strategy, and digital prototyping at various levels of fidelity.2+ years of experience in education teaching classes.I received several awards and has been selected among the top 100 graphic designer graduates from IED Italy in the last 20 years. I have professional experience worldwide, particularly in the USA, UK, Switzerland and Italy managing international cross-media and multilingual campaigns.In my freetime I enjoy learning about other cultures, fighting for human rights, developing personal digital art project.
